Ponthir Community Council Grant Policy
The Community Council provides grants to support not-for-profit organisations that deliver a benefit for local residents. These may include community events, wellbeing initiatives, environmental improvements, and heritage or cultural activities.
Local Causes can apply for up to £200 per financial year, depending on the budget available. Larger projects may also be considered.
The Council does not fund campaigning or activities that could create division within the community.
All funded projects must demonstrate clear community benefit, inclusivity, and good governance.
Grant recipients must provide evidence of how funds were spent and a short report on the outcomes achieved.
The Council aims to support positive, inclusive, and community-focused initiatives that enhance local life.
